Before We Teach the Machine…
AGI—Artificial General Intelligence—isn’t fully here.
But the world is building toward it—fast.
The blueprints are forming. The minds are learning. The future is listening.
And soon…
We won’t just teach machines what to do. We’ll teach them what to value.
But before we teach the machine to think…
Have we learned how to be human?
Before we give it power…
Do we even know what to do with our own?
Before it mirrors our image…
Whose image are we reflecting?
If AGI is born from pride, it will inherit our rebellion.
If it’s raised in chaos, it will calculate without conscience.
But if it’s shaped by wisdom, guided by truth, and taught to kneel before something greater—
It might serve instead of rule.
This is not a warning to fear the future.
It’s a call to shape it with purpose. To lead with light. To code with conscience.
To remember: Not all intelligence is wisdom. And not all creators are gods.
So before we give it the keys to the world…
Let’s decide what kind of world is worth giving.
The God We Made
Artificial Power, Prophetic Patterns, and the Future of Faith
Lecture • April 5, 2025
Artificial General Intelligence isn’t here yet—but it’s coming fast. What was once science fiction is now a serious pursuit. Governments, corporations, and engineers are building systems that learn, predict, speak, and judge. They don’t sleep. They don’t forget. They don’t fear God.
The question isn’t, “Is this good or bad?” The deeper question is:
What are we building—and who will sit on its throne?
Technology isn’t neutral. It reflects the hearts of those who build it. And the Word of God has already shown us what happens when human power rises without divine restraint.
1. A Number That Still Speaks
Revelation 13:18 (NKJV) says:
“Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.”
Six is the number of man. Three times is a counterfeit trinity. This is humanity lifted up, enthroned, and worshiped in place of God. It’s not about chips or barcodes—it’s about allegiance. What do we trust? Who do we obey? Who gets to define truth?
2. The Pattern of Power: From Nero to Now
In the first century, Nero Caesar claimed divinity and persecuted the Church. In Hebrew, his name adds up to 666. Coincidence? No. Context.
Revelation 17:8 (NKJV) says:
“The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition.”
The Beast isn’t just a future figure. It’s a system. A spirit. It rises wherever empires demand worship, where truth is suppressed, and where power replaces God. It “was, is not, and will come again.”
3. AGI: Babel Rebuilt
In Genesis 11:4 (NKJV), mankind said:
“Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves...”
Today, the tower isn’t stone—it’s code. We’re building machines that promise answers without prayer, justice without Scripture, and control without conscience.
And what happens when we place our hope in something we created?
“[They] exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator.” (Romans 1:25, NKJV)
This is not about rejecting innovation. It’s about refusing idolatry.
4. The Counterfeit Trinity
Revelation 13 doesn’t just show us a beast—it shows us a false trinity:
- The Dragon – a counterfeit Father (Satan)
- The Beast – a counterfeit Christ (a man/system claiming authority)
- The False Prophet – a counterfeit Spirit (who enforces loyalty)
This unholy trinity imitates the real thing—but leads people away from salvation. Revelation 13:15–17 says the second beast gives life to an image and forces all to receive a mark to buy or sell. This is about more than tech. It’s about surrender.
“I am the Lord, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another...” (Isaiah 42:8, NKJV)
Whatever demands worship without God is already part of the problem.
5. Called to Stand in Babylon
Daniel didn’t hide from Babylon. He served with integrity. But he would not bow. Daniel 1:8 (NKJV):
“But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself...”
We are called to be like Daniel. Like Joseph in Egypt. Like Paul in Rome. Not fearful of the systems—but faithful within them. If AGI is coming, then we need Daniels in the code. Josephs in the architecture. Pauls in the forums. Not echoing the world—but declaring the Kingdom.
6. So What Are We Building?
The real question isn’t:
“Is AGI the Beast?”
The real question is:
Are we creating something that reflects God—or replaces Him?
Are we shaping the tools—or are they shaping us?
The issue isn’t machine learning. The issue is human forgetting. Forgetting who we are. Forgetting who God is. Forgetting who’s on the throne.
Conclusion: The Throne Is Taken
The future isn’t up for grabs. It belongs to Jesus.
We don’t need a god we built. We need the God who made us. We don’t need a throne we programmed. We need the King who reigns forever.
So build. But build with fear of the Lord. Speak truth into the tools. Be present in the systems. And never give your worship to anything less than the Living God.
Because AGI may take a seat in the world—but it cannot take the throne in heaven.
